I have, and I still think he's a dick. Just because he uses stuff doesn't mean he's any good at what he tries to do.

I have no doubt there have been issues at some point, much as all engine builders or mappers will have had. It's how they deal with the issues and support the customers that count in the long run.

I was referring to a very close friend who's car I had drove prior to mapping and post mapping and what a difference (not for the good either)

as for fuelling propaganda, I don't even need to post.....this whole thread speaks volumes for itself imo

don't see many threads kicking about slating andy f or bob rawle or JGM do you???

I've had more mapping sessions, on both road and dyno, then I've had cups of coffee.

Using six different mappers, I've never had one major issue. Anything that has ever cropped up, minor mapping related, has always been resolved swiftly.

Unfortunately problems can happen, although fault may not always be related to the map.

As with anything, the mapper needs to be chosen with care.

So just because you "drove" your mates car this gives you the right to slag someone off for poor workmanship? So you were there when it was mapped asking the mapper questions and fully understanding the issues were you?

I still stand by my comments that you have no place making comments on something realistically you know very little or nothing about!

I would suggest that there is no point in defending himself as many people have already decided that he isn't any good and input from him will not change their minds but just lead to more whining/bitching.

I think I once read that Alan Jeffrey asks for a full tank of fuel when mapping although I could be wrong. maybe it was scoobyclinic, any who it was someone.

What difference does that make? Lol. My car always goes with a full tank to make it easy for calculating when adding the meth for my 2nd map but then again when my whole tank does 100 miles Martyn still had to top up when it was mapped last time lol

The point that I was trying to make although I clearly failed was that if a mapper is to do a good job and spending a fair amount of time he will need a full tank of fuel to do so.

Christ you're an idiot. No offense!

Not once have I stood up and defended Duncan. I have only given my personal positive account from my personal experience. Something you are unable to do as you have no first hand experience of the person and business you are slagging off! Fact!

Now stop trolling on a thread you have no business being on! Run along little boy!

They are 2.5 litre plugs but your car should have been a 2 litre?

Even pros make mistakes.

But like everyone else in this world it's:

a) how/why they make them;
b) what the consequences are; and
c) what they do about it.

Food for thought, and I'm not feeding anyone to the lions.
