stew
The only 340 available is that of the latest my11 models with the facelifted front end, But they never made any badges up for it. so my guess is someone has stuck it on there Perhaps after it's been on a rolling road
All the Sti hatches sold during a large part of 2010 came with the PPP ugrade and the 18" wheels thrown in at no extra cost. Many of these examples have simply had the 330S badge stuck on the tail gate and are being advertised by both trade and private sales as 330S cars. Externally the 330S is identical to these PPP Type UKs and unless the buyer knows what to look for inside the car then they will get away with it.

whats the best setting for the DCC when in Snow for the hatch.
or should I leave it in auto and leave it alone?
for those who dont like to play, auto with the VDC switched to traction mode I.E green light and use sports mode
for those who love to play
DCCD Manual mode 1 bar on the dash VDC in Traction mode sports # mode throw the lock in and press that loud pedal flat out and donut ahoy
for drift mode dccd manual 3 bars on the dash VDC in Traction Mode and sports # mode gives the front a little more grip to keep you going
haha, just left all in auto and S#, left TC as std as madam was in the back as you spotted so did not go too mad, it wasn't litter, I think she was trying to catch the snow being thrown up from the back wheel, looking forward to the next bout of snow when I'll be trying Robs settings!!!
Was worried about the splitter too, had to do a bit of ploughing to get in there!!
330r was a PPP + 18" lustre afaik. It was some sort of incentive deal to get people buying. Not sure how long they ran it for or when it started, and I dont think they did a badge for it either.
iirc 330r was a free upgrade only available for a few months toward the end of the '08 hatch sales cycle and yep dont think there was ever an official badge with it. Bit like the 320 & 340r for the MY11's.
I'm sure the Red Hatch I test drove back in Dec 2010 @ Europa Subaru in Sheffield had a 330r badge on it. It had all the other PPP upgrade. .. the '330R' badge was in a simliar style to have the 330s badge is.... not just stuck on numbers and letter.
It would be 4yrs old in March this year... so a 2008 car.
I didn't have it...
1. is wasn't WHITE
2. it would have been 3years old in march 2011... so warranty had nearly ran out
3. I wanted no more than 2yr old car.
The free PPP upgrade including the 18" lustre wheels for the Sti hatch was available for all cars registered before June 30th 2010 and the offer ran for approx six months. There is no official 330R badge. As I said, many cars registered during this period are now masquerading as 330S models.
Thanks, bugger, I was up there last week having their stage 1 performance pack fitted! I,ll have to save for a spring & damper pack and pop back up there. Cheers.
