Datuck, I wish you well and hope you turn out to be an enthusiast and use the site for what it's for. Maybe take a few weeks to read the hundreds of great threads within the forum, that way you will be able to post with a much greater knowledge of not only your car but the entire range.
I apologise if any of my comments caused offense.
Thanks m8 that means alot, just make sure you come back for the surprise as in my photos.

Don't know- it's been back and fore so long now, it was an STI, it wasn't, it was....

320bhp for an "above STI" spec after remap is nonsense- a mapped STI will make 350bhp....

No spec list as yet....if someone asked me to put a spec list of a car I have spent that much time and money on I could do it in 20seconds....

I also fail to see why having done ALL this work on your old WRX to make it "above STI spec", why you would need to come here to ask for advice on how to do some pretty minor mods on your other WRX. I just can't understand that?

I would just let it go and get back to using the website as it was intended:

Gain as much knowledge and experience on your car as you can

Enjoy and share your driving experiences with other like minded enthusiasts

(and hopefully learn not to use "txt spk" along the way)

Enjoy the site and enjoy your car- don't spend your life tryin to win battles that, if we are honest, don't matter worth a ****.

320/330 is the norm 350 would be a very good result on a standard STI.

when i first got my blob sti a remap made just over 330 bhp.
they vary a bit but 350 is high, possibly require decat.

A 2.5 with the vf43 will make 360-380 bhp with mid 400 lb/ft torque with just a good re-map

the 2.0 has a vf35, i was talking standard cars here, i.e. no mods other than a map.

350BHP on New age with VF35 good luck with that, usually VF35 making around 330-340bhp

VF34 should make 350bhp,but sometimes will make just as VF35

And in most cases every engine is not the same, some will make those figures some not, sometimes is more lucky draw than rule

Yes on 2.5L will make VF43 those number, but on 2.0L you will be lucky to make above 350bhp on V-power alone

Ok ok, guys, not the point here- the point is, a mapped car "above STI spec" at 320bhp is not really what I would expect.

Swings and roundabouts....different supporting mods or however technical we want to get- the discussion wasn't directed into a technical turbo outlet direction.

We will argue about just about anything on here huh? Lol.

Well if a standard STi is 280 bhp, then a mapped WRX making 320bhp is above STi spec in that area and that area alone

above in bhp alone, brakes, gearbox, suspension and other bits still arent.

unless of course you strip it to a shell and upgrade every part to above sti spec and still only end up with 320 bhp.

This is true lol, I think alot of us want different things from different models.

For me a car that's been hand built has got to be different from the rest people have said and say that a 22b is a wide bodied type r ive had both and trust me the wide bodied was nothing like my 22bs to drive or at handling but did look very nice and i would have 1 again for a track car.

A nice typr r ra is a very good fast road sprint car short ration nice dccd cant beat it.

The newer cars for me are to heavy, bulky but can also look the part,I was going to buy the ra r of here but it just didnt grab me like a 22b does

Ps

Arn't you all going of topic it says best looking why are you mentioning power in your'e comments ?

jesus you must smoke some crack, lie after lie after lie.... so what happened to the one you rebuilt from a shell?

also the wheels from your old wrx wont fit the sti due to not having enough clearance to fit over the brembos.

keep searching google for the pics.
