A lot of people have worked tirelessly in a short period of time to get this thing from conception to reality, there's almost 600 names alone on this list, and many more who unfortunately have been turned away, these are all people who want to help make a poorly young lads day and absolutely everyone bar none wants it to be a great day, for him, his family and all of us attending.
Let's leave it to those who have organised it this far and lets have faith in them to giving all a day to remember.
What we should be asking is this:
Is there anything that we can do to help? Phone calls, emails, anything, I'm at work tonight then off all day tomorrow & more than prepared to help if I can.
Let's give them some support & not let the thread go off track.
This day is too special to allow that to happen, surely.

That's right support from everyone instead of people picking at things that they know nothing about.
Everyone has been so good so far with support and help, as I'm sure everyone will muck in on the day.
It's going to be a good day, I'm coming from guernsey (getting the ferry to Poole) and driving up with a mate (were on the list) I just hope know one tries to ruin it by just turning up and acting up

And please all I stress again there is no point in coming if you are not on the list and just turn up without any thought on the reason for the day itself, and any kicking off will be dealt with swiftly via police and Marshalls working together.

I have just sat reading through all the posts on here, cannot believe the support! Connors family must be overwhelmed.
Is the event now closed to vehicles that have not registered?

Yes. You can go on the waiting list. The other option is to send us a pic of your car and a note to Connor for us to put on the website (www.connorsday.com) by emailing us at webmaster@interlifedesigns.net
This will give you a chance to show your car to Connor, even though it cannot be in the show. Also, you are welcome to still go to the show, you just have to park off site and walk in.
Remember, CONNOR IS NOT TO KNOW ABOUT HIS ILLNESS. The family wants this to remain secret, so please do not say anything at the show, or in your notes to go on the website. We will not post anything that says Connor is sick
I truly hope that this day is a fantastic day for Connor and his family, much respect to everyone who is coming on Saturday including myself (411- Vectra GSi replica - VVOC) and hope it goes to plan on the day....
Im in awe at how this has turned out from the father of Connor originally only wanting 30 cars to what it is now in such a short space of time...
Mine and my familys thoughts go out to you at this very hard time, as a father of 3 I can only imagine what you will be going through...
Was planning on making the 2 hour journey on Saturday and have just took the time to read all 59 pages and found out I need to register. As far as I understand the list is closed but any chance I could be put of the reserve list ?

The numbers got messed with, but yours is at what you see it as now on latest list.

But I'd advise the people that are not on our lists, would not come, or come at your own risk as to if there will be anywhere to park.

Well If you would like stand passes, where do we get them? Who's giving them out? Is it not a yes or no answer if stand passes are needed as I dot want to be asked if I've got one when I turn up only to say I don't have one ?

As spaces are at a premium now, and people still want to attend, We thought We would offer an alternative to those in the reserve lists, if you wish to come We will allow it on the condition that you come as marshalls, that means getting on site for 10am.
Speak to jamo or bustamoves if you want advice. If you have ur registration number you will be ok, the area is not the Bronx and there will be police presence along with plenty of people around, who have initiative if someone's looking dodgy round a car!
Let's all go back to what this is about, a fathers plea to make one day special for his son!! Any teething problems will be ironed out by team work, by people being adults, patience, not by people sabotaging the event that only have negative comments to make instea of helping find solutions to those possible issues that are been thought of.
Life is hard enough without finding problems for the sake of it!!
