When i first saw the title thread i was half wondering if it was another one of those strange threads........................ How much do i wish it was 
im so so sorry to hear your devastating news, i cant find the words to say just how truely gutted i am for you, has put a lump in my throat reading this and all the kind words people have had to say and for all the kind hearted people out there who are trying to make this day a truely remarkable one for your little boy!!
I will try my best to make it up from cardiff as im sure a few others will who are local to me, this should truely be a day your little boy will love, its amazing just how people come together at times like this!

This thread has brought tears to my eyes, I am so sorry to read your news and cant even begin to think how you must be feeling.
Ref the cars -
I can certainly also arrange a lot of nice fast cars to attend, mainly Ford Cosworths, Rs Foci etc, but I fear having done a little research on Google and seen how viral this has gone, that you are already going to have problems with huge numbers attending and think that with the greatest respect, I should refrain from advertising it on our other forums until such time as you personally say you want us to do so. the last thing you want that night is stress and problems.
A suggestion:
Maybe its worth creating an official Facebook event for this so that people can click "Attending" and you can get an instant and automated idea of numbers attending and will also have as link to send to authorities etc when looking for a venue?
I will be happy to set this up for you if you wish.

Saw this on Pistonheads website.
Pistonheads are at Aston Martin this weekend (Sunday 2 Sep) from 0900-1300.
The event is fully booked but I have contacted mods at the site to see whether the OP and his family could be added (I'm just a site member so have no influence).

I can't remember how I found this thread, but as soon as I read it, i put the word out to anyone I could! One such man is Nick Williams of NWVT, a very talent automotive photographer who has plenty contacts in the super car world.
One of his friends who goes by the name of JS Greenwood posted this...

Hi bud, your message jus popped up on my Facebook, so sorry to hear about your families sad time. I won't be in the country on that weekend & to be honest this post is not about your day it is about something you could do the day after. Some of the other postees may know that Chris Evans off the tv & radio is hosting CARFEST North on 8th & 9th Sept I think you need to contact him & let him know about your son he's got a big heart & in my opinion will make Sunday a special day for you but he would make it amazing, there is a website for it & I don't think he'd be hard to contact. To the OP i'm so sorry to read about your sons battle.
I'm a member of SCD, as this is your sons event i want him to choose the car i'll bring along.
The first choice is one of only 18 Liquid yellow Clio V6's in the county. The other is an orange 240BHP Lotus Exige S with performance pack, i'll take him out for a spin in which one he wants too!

We'd love to support the meet although not subaru/evo we would love to attend and try to make it a great evening for yourself and the family.
We have around 10 attending so far, however i understand your looking for locations/capping attendees, so we don't want to intrude if there are too many attending already.
Again, so sorry to hear your news and hope the night can be made special and exactly how you want it to be.
