Captures the day well.

Has anyone got a piccie from the 'top' of the Close looking 'in', the whole gang sat in the middle of the neighbourhood?

Or the one James took, balancing on the wall, with all the fleet decked out in the 'Derbyshire Triangle' ?

I may have missed something but what did John mean when he said "typical LuckyWelshchap stunt" or something to that effect?

Nope just re read the post and it said " classic LuckyWelshchap " not stunt. Something about opening the taps past the church and the vicars face, sounds like a good laugh either way.

I think what John meant Chris was "That was a classic, Luckywelshchap, I wish someone got a picture of the vicars face as we suddenly opened the taps past the church

He was referring to my opinion that one of the highlights was the vicar's face.
Imagine - service starts at 12:30, vicar's out at the church gate waiting for the bride.
12:32 and the convoy comes up to the church, so he's thinking 'ah, not too late then'.

Black Leader obeys orders from Lady Organiser (sitting in the navigator's seat), opens throttle and takes us on a spin around the countryside.

I was sitting at Pos 5, so I had time to see the reaction on the vicar's face as we all 'waltzed' by. I wonder if he thought we were going to the wrong church ?

The 2nd time was even better - you could see him a) relieved that we had come back; and b) anxious () that we went past a second time.

However, we pulled into an area just past the church in order to line up in the correct order of guests. 'Squadron Leader' Ray (Pos 1) then lead us sedately the final 100 yards. He's in a better position to tell us how the vicar looked when he realised we were finally coming to a halt and delivering the wedding party.

Btw I did perhaps miss one more highlight.
A Welshman singing along to Blake's Jerusalem - without a hymnsheet.

As I said, absolutely fab day.
I will NEVER forget that look on the Reverend Day's face !

O.k I get it now, yeah I would imagine that had I been there I would have been giggling like a little girl.

Well done though, giving the whole of the subaru community a good name and having fun in the process.

Yep, that was what I meant, have to agree with the singing, you did good Luckywelshchap, on both hymns.

Also the guy outside the Post Office, think he was going to burst with excitement at all the noise of the cars coming past, never seen anyone take so many pictures in such a short space of time.

Yes, that's the one. Outside the PO first time and then I believe he came back for more when we were all lined up at the church after the service.
I wonder if he did his back in, all those different angles he was bending at ?

Amazing how this brought about something that lit up the lives of so many.
Not just the families and guests at a wedding but THREE villages and a town.

Well done Michelle (and Andrew for having the sense to marry her)

Bravery indeed James. Did anyone take any video that could be uploaded onto YouTube? I saw plenty of people videoing the day but they were the professionals.

This looks absolutely brilliant. Fair play to everyone, what a great show of a superb club community. This is the sort of stuff that makes you realize just how important it is to come together to showcase the Subaru spirit. Congratulations to the bride and groom.
