Unhappy Getting out of biking

It saddens me to say that due to a forthcoming suicide mortgage, I'm having to say goodbye to the bike (for the short term hopefully)

I've only done 300 miles in 12 months since collecting my brand new K8 GSX-R 1000 so its unfair to have her sitting in the garage, not even run in yet.

As such, I'm selling off most of my kit so if you fancy a suit, gloves or even a brand new Gixer thou' then check out my for sale ads in the forum.

Cheers

Why are you getting out of biking altogether

Just because you can no longer afford the latest corotch rocket doesn't mean you need to stop riding altogether

The second hand market is awash with great bikes at excellent prices at the moment

The financial side is only one part of my reason, like I said in opening post, I've done just 300 miles on a brand new GSX-R 1000 in 12 months! Thats criminal and I'm just not getting the opportunity to ride, with major work commitments balanced with a hectic family life

Fair enough

Been there done that with the crippling mortgage thing, it gets easier eventually, honest

I have to admit I feel the same about some of my fleet sometimes too
The only reason I don't succumb is because I wont give MrsD the satisfaction

Sad, but I appreciate your reasons. Hope that you can pick it up at some time in the future.

I can understand the logic.......I can also see why it would still be a tough decision though
