Respray
Was going to get my car detailed a few weeks back,but a few days before,my car had a little accident in my local garage.
Now the damage is being sorted,my question is how long before i can have the car detailed after a respray?
As long as the bodyshop part-cure (IR lapms) or fully cure (oven bake) the new paint then you can polish and protect it straight away. If it's left fully uncured (rare these days) then you'll need to leave it a few days before polishing it, and 30-60 days before waxing or sealing it. We quite often have our customers cars in fresh from the bodyshop, and if you know the curing status of the paint you can safely work on it or around it.
