First problem . Bird crap
Get a cloth and soak it in boiling water and then just lay it over the bird crap.
Leave it for 20 mins and it will soften the crap, allowing you to wipe it off.
Second problem. Bird
Air rifle with flat or domed pellet. .22 calibre, wait for the little varmit, shot to the head. :thumb:

doesn't really need to be boiling water. infact i'd advise against it. just warm will do.
make sure you get plenty of protection on there. i find building up alternative layers of wax and then an acrylic protect well against etching.

I should have clarified, I meant boiling so by the time you carried the cloth outside and laid it on the car, it would have cooled somewhat :p

I just use cold distilled water in a bottle, and keep spraying with a jet until gone - if you have a decent amount of protection on the paint this always works fine. Just avoid wiping - there's some amount of grit in birds crap. :)
