New Car cleaning guide website up and running
|
|
After working on this little project
*** A little idea I have been working on ****
I decided that a proper website would be better and so here you are
Polished Swiss
This site basically has all the information that was in the Cleaning Guides as well as links to all the suppliers and the Buying Guides. There are download links at the end of each page.
Please report any duff links or errors to me and I can make the changes.
Thanks

SwissTony thinks some people are like a slinky... not really good for anything, but you still can't help but smile when you shove them down the stairs.

But well done. Good on you.
I which I could do things like that. But I have no hope at this moment in time.

Rich has been emailed and informed all along what I was doing. TBH it is not meant to be a competitive site as I do not do this for a business. It was purely as an information site and should be viewed as a 'complimentary' site if anything. Also all acknowledgements to various people have been included on the site.
I hope the site helps a lot of people, experienced and complete novices in working out some decent methods on care care and the downloadable guides should be useful for people to print off and keep as a handy tool.
If there is anything that people would like included, feel free to make some comments

Looks good, that's some hard graft you've put in - creating and maintaining a website isn't easy, and seems to take up so much time. Hat's off, a great contribution to the detailing community.

Thank you Rich for those words As you will see credit to you for use of some of your wording and pics has been included
Glad you like it. The website wasnt hard to do, it is something I sometimes do in my spare time so no big deal, though spare time is a commodity these days.
Must get it as a sticky in the car-care section, I think just under the POLISHED BLISS guides...that should confuse people

Worked a treat
Will have to do it again though cause I didn't have anything to detail it (used my Swissol Peu and WD40 ).
I was so worried about the electrics but cause you showed exactly what to cover then it was perfectly fine
