Default Comments on my product selection?

Ok trying to sort a proper care routine for my 2002 Mica Blue Bug. These are my thoughts......

Regular wash with:
  1. Snow foam - Megs Hyper Wash
  2. Hand wash (2 bucket method) lambs wool mitt and Megs NXT
  3. Wash wheels with ????
  4. Pat dry with Megs waffle weave (and NXT detailer if required)
  5. Clean glass with Megs NXT glass cleaner
Deeper clean every 3 or so months
  1. Snow foam
  2. 2 bucket wash
  3. De-tar/insect - Tardis spray
  4. Clean wheels with ???
  5. Protect wheels with Poorboys Wheel Sealant
  6. Claybar with Megs Quick Clay
  7. Polish Poorboys Black Hole Glaze
  8. Protect Nattys Paste Wax (Blue) or EX-P Sealant
Engine Clean
No ideas!

Interior
Poorboys interior dressing?

What do you clean freaks think?

I wash my wheels with the same shampoo i clean my car with, I find a wheel that has been sealed correctly and washed regularly doesn't need abrasive chemicals. Although I do not do a great deal of miles.

Interior I find Autoglym vinyl and rubber care great, I tend to buff it to a matt finish to avoid shine in the sun.

Our stock advice for a top routine for dark metallic/pearlescent finishes can be found here...

Recommended products/routine for dark metallic/pearlescent Subaru's

However, your general plan is sound. I'd suggest swapping your shampoo as NXT is quite strong, and prone to stripping budget waxes like Natty's. In it's place Meguiars Shampoo Plus would be a good choice, and this actually offers far better value for money. To clean your wheels safely, Gloss It's new Signature Wheel Gel is amazing (massive cleaning power but pH neutral), and again offers great value for money, as it can be diluted down to 4:1 with no major loss of performance. For the engine bay, a thorough clean with R222 Total Auto Wash, followed by an application of 303 Aerospace Protectant will leave everything looking spot on. Finally, for the interior of a Scoob, I'd go with Poorboy's Natural Look every time.

Which sealant/wax would you go for the Nattys Blue or the EX-P and why?

If choosing just one, I'd go with the Natty's Blue for a well rounded level of gloss and shine. Ideall though, you go with a base of EX-P to add durability and reflectivity, and then multiple layers of Natty's Blue to add extra gloss.

Cheers Rich - once I've had the bill for the A/C repairs and got over the shock to the Credit Card I'll be sending an order your way! But please don't let me buy one of the driers because no matter how cool they look I really don't need one...... or do I?
