Default Whatever happened to Usenet?

Filled with spam and loads of incompletes.

Was using Astraweb with Usenet-News as backup server.

Never thought I would use torrents for my 'stuff' but get what I look for first time now.

Virgins free news address is useless though.

If you want things with big retention yes but I don't come across many incompletes and Max's out at 140mb.

I really only get the recent stuff so the 10 day retention will do me fine

I use astraweb, very rarely have a problem getting stuff but tbh I just use it for my TV shows now. Newsbin pro + sickbeard/plex = never miss a tv show. I get my movies off yify, I used to have 30gb+ rips and they were tanning my HDD space, now I use the yify rips (1080p) which are 2gb each max.

That's exactly what I do, yify is a great site for latest movies. Probably not be around for much longer through VM however.

This is a very good VPN to get to torrent sites https://mullvad.net/en/

I can achieve around 6-10 mbps.

News hosting or giganews. A lot gets taken down now ASAP so you need to be quick.
