Default Witter Racing Services :)

Hey everyone,

So I recently ordered a set of Project Mu Brakes for the car and have just got round to fitting them.

Witter Racing Services are the UK dealers for Project Mu. I was in contact with Chris Witter who is clearly clued up on what he is selling! After telling him what I was after he ordered them direct from Japan taking only around a month with a Jap holiday in the middle. All these brakes are made to order as far as im aware so I expected a little wait.

During this time Chris was always in contact providing me with up to date information as a reputable salesman should be!! He was very help and I thoroughly recommmend him to anyone.

Brakes arrived and looking pretty dam good, manufactured to a high quality nothing missing, all very impressive.

So I ordered the Racing 6 Pot Calipers, all billet manufactured and I selected the 355mm x32mm disc option, cant remeber if smalller was available for this caliper. Anyway lay around for a few weeks until my new wheels arrived to clear the brakes. Got out today and fitted them all. Not one problem, all bolted straight on, all that needed ajusting was the shield behind the disc but that needs to be modded for any upsized disc so no big deal. So all on the car, looks far better than the brembos and boy are they more powerfull!!! Love having to brake now, car still feels balanced while braking but the car grinds to a hault like nothing else I've driven. Just need to track them now!

Very happy with them and impressed with the entire service. Once again I would recommend Witter Racing Services to anyone looking to upgrade their brakes! They also advertise in the SIDC mag now!!

Treated myself, ah around £3000 have to look up exact price. I got the kinda the highest of the range, 6 pots racing ones, performance street one and racing 4 pots are less but check the price list on the Witter site. Think theres a SIDC discount to some degree.

What was wrong with the AP Racing 355mm set up at about £1500.00 + VAT, that you can get spares for overnight??

Your choice of course. I just wonder if it won't bite you on the bum one day when there is a problem and spares are required.

Good luck, David
