Default TY754VN1AA and TY754VN4AA?

My 03 blob wrx box (vn4aa) has gone to gearbox heaven. I have found a classic TY754vn1aa and believe it to be the same ratio?
Can anyone please help me on the matter? Much much googling and I can't find the definitive answer! Thanks

Weaker and working is better than goosed and stood up lol, both are ty754's, it's not an old TY752.
Yeah I've checked a lot of charts and I'm struggling. Api David might know

Whys that? I've actually got one with a stripped third gear, got it for free. It's the wrong clutch type and the wrong front driveshaft type though so won't fit.

But then the clutch I've just bought would be useless, I'd have to buy a new clutch and the gearbox is £400 dearer.
I would rather just put a gearbox in, does no one know what final drive, rear diff and drop gear ratio either of those boxes have? 3.9, 3.545, 1.1?

Looks like all VN boxes are the same ratio, with only driveshafts and driveshaft oil seals being the difference.

All uk Impreza boxes are 3.54 ratio rear diffs. The TY754VN1AA box will be fine with your own diff.

I suppose if you are unsure of the ratio of the box you can pop it in gear, turn the input shaft, watch front drive shaft do one full turn and count how many turns the prop does.
