Default Opinions please

Ive just put in my 2.5 forged lump in my wrx bug

car has an 18g with all supporting mods

Question is in regards to the box. I know im going to be able to run a shed load more torque with the 2.5 but i also want to protect my box until i can afford a 6 speed. what is a reasonable tq figure to aim for?

I never launch the car. I was running 361/322 before new engine and i was thinking of running around 340-350Tq(bhp not important) and driving safely ish

whats peoples views/opinions?

Cheers in advance
