My99 STI noise?? Help!!
My Sti has started making this noise ? It's a forged build by pro r .
It sounds like it's coming from the drivers side head :/?? Anyone have any ideas what this noise is ?

Could it be the power steering pump? Trying to think of less terminal issues 1st.

The power steering pump dies whine but not sued the metal sound is coming from PAS

Just got round to looking at the car it's been off the road since the post
Just dropped the sump and found this
Any ideas it's alloy

Looks like a piece of piston skirt!

I fear John is correct. Looks very much like a piece of piston skirt.

Yeah that's what we thought it was
As it has a slight curve and the machine lines go the same way as the curve so must be the bottom half of the piston
