Prepare for a load of people to tell you to throw it away and put a recirc on....

Is it a real one? There are loads of cheap copies about which are valves which are dump rather then dump valves.

Where is is fitted? Ie straight to intercooler or remote? Is it FMIC or TMIC? What boost? Mods etc?

I have had a genuine SSQV 2 for about 7 years and no problems. You usually get one single dump or two quickly as its got dual valves.

I've got the ssqv 2 and get the flutter too unless you get full boost, pretty sure it's from the valve not opening and it's air coming back through the turbo

As above. That sounds pretty standard for a has fart valve. You do realise it has no performance benefit whatsoever? In fact, as you are finding out, it will make it run worse.

Here we go

Well mine has dumped fine for years in one big whoosh and sometimes a small one too due to the two valve design. It runs fine on my car. No problems at all.

No it doesn't improve performance. I would never claim otherwise. Niether do STI large rear wings... and many other things we do.
