Do you have to declare this to insurance as a optional extra from factory. I just say it has a exhaust and ecu.

On the certificate for PPP you get with the car it tells you to notify insurance and to use high Ron petrol.

Hey, when I tell them about remap and etc they get confused. So I dine the qoute manually with them and they found one with 301 bhp. After that did u say there is any optional extra or mods as this is already covered by the 301 bhp I believe.

So even if they found a model with 301 BHP. Do I still have to tell them about the optional extras such as exhaust, filter and remap.

I'd imagine that it's the same model as long as they are both for a UK car.

Who's the insurance company as most of the specialists recognise the PPP. For your own peace of mind I'd always pick up the phone as you can then make sure your mods are covered for replacement if you write it off or your car gets stolen.
