Default I thought the MAf had gone, but its fine...

Car is running very poorly on boost, I thought this may have been the MAF, I bought a replacement and changed it over it all seems the same. I now have a spare MAF

My next suspision would be a coil pack gone, would this be the next logical thing to swop over?

Any other suggestions what this could be?

Also, does anyone know what a set of coil packs are going to set me back?

Do you have a knocklink, if so what's it doing..?

Mines doing something similar, boost fines but a small misfire, not knock on the knock link, my mechanic said it could be the plugs needing regapped.

Well if im going to change the coil packs then I suppose it wouldnt hurt to change the plugs at the same time, its just annoying paying for stuff that isnt broken.

Tell me about it!!
Doing the plugs first as theyre the cheapest then the coil packs if the plugs don't cure it.

Coil packs went on mine, symptoms were hestitation under load @ around 4K rpm ...& were worse when weather was cold/damp. managed to pick up a new set (denso) for £80 off Fleabay ...stealer wanted £240!
