idle air control soleniod......

I need some help if you can guys,

i'm re-fitting my inlet manifold after some time off the car and putting the idle control soleniod back on i feel i'm missing something.

I have the unit itself and a largish rubber (air control valve spring) buit i think i am missing the 'air control vale 2' as it is labled in the manual i have.

is this right or does it not need one ???
