Guys

I'm need of a bit of advice.... I've owned my UK MY00 from new (Registered: March 2001) and have always adheared to the recommended 6 month service interval. In the 7 years of ownership I've only managed to clock up 42K miles (without any track day use).

What would you recommend I do.....

1. Continue servicing every 6 months.
2. Service the car once a only year.
3. Service the car based on mileage and not time.

Thanks in advance

I agree with you Mr Burns :thumb: Every 6 months regardless of mileage.

I also have a my00 (bought in sept 2000) and only done 35,000. Because I only do 4,000 a year I decided to get serviced by mileage - my theory being that its miles rather than age that puts wear on a car

Items like oil with low mileage trips can deteriorate it quicker :( rubber items will deteriorate quicker :( and lubricants will break down with any form of wear, hence intervals in 6 months rather than miles are better :)
