Hi Jonas and welcome to the forum.
The WRX and STi Version 5/6 camshafts have different lift and duration, the valves, springs and buckets/shim type are different also.
The STi 5/6 Cams ( 9/53/58/10 ) are good for the power you are looking for with supporting mods to get the power/torque.
If you want to take it a step further - give the STi 5/6 heads a good porting/polishing job and go for a set of aftermarket cams with 270/280 degree duration - gives good power from Approx.1500-7000rpm(270 degree) and 2500-8000rpm from the 280 degree cams.
