I've got some questions about fitting a hybrid fmic to an early (MY94 classic)

My car is a GC6 rebuilt to a GC8, and I seem to be missing the support bar at the front, anyone got any ideas how to sort that?

And it seems to be no clearance at all between the engine filler cap and the battery / windscreen fluid tank, should I cut the pipe? or mod anything there?

I've cut the hole and I'm through on the other side, but this side has me puzzeled, anyone got some good suggestions? :)

Look at KIPS front mount intercooler project, in the project section.

Fendel, nice upgrades ;)

KIPS guide is a near match but it was for the Autobahn kit IIRC and the Hybrid piping is slightly different.

Fendel your going to need to a support bar unless you fabricate your own one. Its the main support along with the 2 x brackets which also fit on the underside to the chassis. Regarding the pipework you need to cut the piping roughly where the poistive terminal is on the battery and a silicone joiner. Cant remember size (75mm?) Adjust the length to then fit onto the joining piece coming up past the cambelt cover. TIP:- Make sure you file down the pipework once you've cut it. Dont want any loose particles entering TB

I also routed the the main wiring harness cables behind the oil fill neck to give more room also. Keeps things tidy :thumb:
