Unhappy ver 4 sti tmic to wrx

can't get it to fit in the hole lol. do they actually fit or if someone has done it. how did they get it in

What are you fitting it too, an early wrx model?

If yes then you will need to modify the elbow for the dv on the v4 tmic. Otherwise it will clash with the iscv on the inlet manifold.
Cut the elbow off and tig weld a ally plate to cover the hole.
This way you can mount the tmic closer to the throttle body & givw you some clearance to the rear bulkhead.

In addition to whats said above , you need to cut approx 5mm off the cooler inlet and throttle body to gain enough clearence on the bulkhead. It is a tight squeeze but worth it.

This is a lot of work for very little gain. I know as I have done this, STi 6 TMIC to ver 2 car.
It did not put ACTs under control at only 320 bhp.
Just fit an FMIC to do the job properly.
