Default jolt in high gears.
hi i have a uk turbo 2000 wagon and its been running sweet as a nut until lately.it goes bezerk on boost in 1st and 2nd but when in third and above when the turbo lets rip it will boost for a bit then i just get a big jolt and then carries on.any help hugely appreciated.

Sounds like you are overboosting mate. The car will tend to over boost easier in 3rd 4th etc as you describe. Check all the little pipes that connect to the turbo and boost solenoid for blocks and splits. Also check they are plumbed correct.
