Default advice plz

ok i'm away to start ordering my engine parts, i'm stuck with my pistons.

do i NEED to buy oversize pistons and rebore my block or can i just buy std size forged pistons and drop them in? (provided bores are not damaged)

Would it not be a good start to measure the bores to see if they are within tolerence and not oval?

It may make your decision easier!

If you need to buy pistons,why not go first oversize 0.5mm with rebore then you will know it's all good.

its the hassle of finding someone to bore the block that can be trusted and there aint any locally

dunno to be honest, i aint looked at the block since it arrived lol, piston 3 has a knocking bearing.

what should i be looking for anyway? i'm not great when it comes to looking for worn/faulty parts

if you can still see the cross hatching on the bores with no score marks or smooth patches you may be ok
