Default Loss of boost - modded SPEC C

Hi,

My Spec C has the following spec

Perrir 3 port boost solenoid
RCM exhaust
Forge Recirc DV
ECUTEK remap (Andy F remap)

I had the car remapped on Monday and it was running perfectly making 1.6 BAR and going like stink. For some reason now no matter what it won't go above 1 bar! I've checked all the pipes etc are ok, reset the ECU, even changed the MAF (clutching at straws) Does anyone have any idea.

When it hits its new limit of 1 bar it doesnt jolt to a halt or anything like that.

Any help would be very much appreciated

Cheers
N

sounds like it has gone into the "low boost" mode.................speak to Andy as there is normally a sequence to switch between the 2x settings..........

Hi Alyn,

I've already tried the rear screen heater button and it makes no difference (toggles between maps). The low boost mode on my car should still be about 1.4 bar, so it doesn't make any sense at all.

Cheers

This is my brother btw guys.....I was thinking it is probably the Perrin BCS failing?? At around 15PSI that would be the crack pressure of the Forge Actuator with the yellow spring? Is it worth changing out the BCS, I really can't see what else it could be.

Reset the ECU again and tried the 5th gear 2-5 k 10 psi thing that Tony Burns suggested in another post but the boost still won't go above 1 bar. Going to order another Perrin 3 port solenoid tonight and see if thats the problem. Could it maybe be the remap?
