Default weird footwell leak -help please

Anyone had a leak into their front footwells where the water collects on the top of the carpetted sill at the bottom of the door and then flows into footwell. It seems to be coming down the very edge of the dash somwhere but even with a pressure washer I can't figure it out.It only seems to happen when it rains

Having searched the forums I'm no further on.

Not in a scoob, but when I was a student I had a beat up old VW golf. When it was raining, every time I put my foot on the clutch, water would literally pour onto my foot.

STiFreak is wishing he would just win the damn lottery already
