Default blackout hawkeye headlights

Can anybody give me any advice on how to blackout my headlights on a hawkeye sti? not cheap covers over the plastic or spray, the mod where the inside edge of the headlight is black and not chrome??

There are guides fo the older models. It will involve putting the headlights in an oven.
It softens the glue to take the lens off, then you paint the inside.
