Default types of JEGS ECU

Hiya does anyone have a complete list of Jegs ECU codes and their associated model fuel cut threashold / power / rev limit/ No. of plugs... information. I have found a few but its far from being complete. Seems this could be a really useful list to compile, possibly focused on the classics as they seem to be most likely to be swapped?

U8, W6, 2C - 1993/1994 WRX 11.47PSI
W9 - 1994 WRX RA 11.47PSI
V7, 7D, 6D - 1993 TO 1996 UK/EURO 11.47PSI
SA (STI CHIPPED) - 1993/1994 STI 13.64PSI
SB (STI CHIPPED) - 1993/1994 STI RA 13.64PSI
Z4 - 1995/1996 WRX 12.7PSI
Z5 - 1995/1996 WRX RA 12.7PSI
6K (STI MAPPED, BUT NOT CHIPPED) - 1995/1996 STI 13.64PSI
7K (STI MAPPED, BUT NOT CHIPPED) - 1995/1996 STI RA13.64PSI
PRODRIVE UK ECU (PRODRIVE CHIPPED) - 1994 TO 1996 13.68PSI
1C, 3B, V9, V5 - ALL WRX WAGONS 10PSI, DROPPING TO 6.8PSI

other codes I have found =

3S (looks like a 3 plug?)
my car is a 1998 uk turbo 2000 TD04 wagon and has a 2S- rev limit untested! - max boost seems to be 0.8 bar (11.6 psi) - fuel cut seems to be at 1.05 bar (15.2 psi)- 3 plug- no idea of bhp... 216?

My regular 1993 WRX had the W6 ECU - so I don't think it's exclusive to the lightweight WRX Type RA(?). They share the same engines, I think.

Yes.

The PP chip's been designed around MY93-96 cars running 380cc injectors and the TD05 16g turbo i.e. all JDM WRX and WRX Type RA saloons from that period.

Okay I will edit the list again when i get some more time and repost it. I also want to add the ecu's mentioned before by myblackwrx. I have found some specs for them but need to check them out a bit more.

I started this because my wagon ecu is fairly poor and seems to produce mundane levels of power, as a result I am using an ebc to lift boost to just under fuel cut. Its helped a lot but as you know its not ideal as the fueling probably sucks. I was wondering if there is an equivalent 'z4' type ecu for the 3 plug tdo4 engines, in otherwords one that provides the best 'factory' map for tdo4 power on the cheap, and still claim its basically 'unmodified' for the insurance. I'm guessing the answer is not the sti ecu's as they have different parts (turbo injectors etc. i think) but perhaps the UK saloon ecu? JDM ecu's need octane booster i believe so are also ruled out for me, although i do use shell vpower so i will look into that.
I know i will end up getting a proper set up power fc as for my 98 3 plug this is the best allround performer for the money as far as i can tell, plus everyone knows how to tune it and there is a chance i may be able to eventually work it out and tune it for myself oneday via commander or dataloggit.

The UK wagon 98 and saloon 98 produce the same power 208bhp.

imo just save your money looking for a better standard ecu and buy for the Power Fc.

The 9S is the ECU from a 97/98 Impreza GT. This is the EU equivalent of the UK turbo 2000.

The ECU is identical to the UK 8S ECU and you can use this. Note that the 8S has a slightly different case (for our right-hand-drive cars in the UK). If you get hold of an 8S you can swap the case over (the circuit board from the 8S will fit in the 9S case just fine).

One slight problem though. These ECUs have a chip in them that must match the chip in your key. So if you buy an ECU you must make sure the two chips match or your car will not work (you'll get the check engine light flashing at half-second intervals). There are a few ways of doing this; 1 - make sure you get the keys (or at least the chips) with the 8S ecu you buy, and swap them over; or 2 - take the car to a subaru dealer and get the keys coded to the ECU.

Are you sure the ECU is toast though? The ECUs are usually pretty reliable.
