Default do you remove??

do you remove the gear box top stabliser bar when removing and re fitting engine...just got air con pipes and fuel to remove and waiting for hoist to be delivered but dont know if bar needs to come off

right then got the engine up on a hoist but wont part from gear box....
any ideas had gear box off last year

stuck on dowells maybe ??? you've took pin out of clutch fork i presume ???

hi, yes taken pin out all things out of the way now but just jack the engine up and the gear box moves with it when i rock engine etc and its pulling on the rear prop shaft and cv joints just dont want to knack anything up there
think its the dowels so is that just a case of well i dont realy know am stumped

if you took all bolts out and starter motor off,pin out of clutch fork it should pop off mate

right struggled today getting engine off the box but got it off with alump hammer a crow bar and it popped off
trouble now is cant seem to get the new one back in, got a few bolts in and trying to pull them together but run out of daylight now but am only half an inch till the mountins drop in but dont think its going to go

got the cluch lined up because i can lock engine up when its in gear so dont think its that

gothe engine in now what a pain i wont bedoing this again on my own thats for sure.....stupid flywheel plate got trapped stopping alignment

sounds sweet though took a bit of a gamble with a second hand engine
