Default tappy engine - with video

just a bit worried as car has had two rebuilds but 'top' end head and valves etc have not been changed, always thought it has been a bit tappy and was wondering if maybe there is cause for concern. i have included video although sound quality isnt great, it gives an idea of the noise. i not sure if an engine flush and oil change would cure it or not? i am 99.9% sure this is not bottom end as the noise comes from the sides of the engine, but it is loud as the noise can be heard echoing off walls etc as you drive down the road, bit annoying now!

there will be a subaru engineer (from Subaru UK) viewing car in 3 weeks due to an ongoing issue with the new gearbox, so i have asked for them to also check engine tap whilst there, so just wanted a better idea of whether it is normal or not.

thanks in advance.

Hard to tell, but doesn't sound much different to mine. A little louder perhaps.

Dont flush the engine oil, just do a change, slighty thicker may help, what is in there just now?

Sounds like mine when cold, warmed up fades away. My injectors click all the time though.
