Turbo, sounds like.........

AS some of you may know I have a problem with my car and the turbo. I connected up my electronic boost controller, to play around, and when the turbo spools, it sounds like there is air being sucked in, does anyone know what this is?? Maybe the inlet manifold gaskets are shot.?? I have checked all pipes connecting the induction, and all seems fine.

You will get induction/ air sucking noise from a turbo car under boost, Even with the standard air box Etc, If your running higher boost, this will be increased. If the inlet gaskets were shot, i would expect it to run rough @ idle Etc as it would be sucking in un-metered air ...
