hi im looking to upgrade my WRX 2002 standard fuel pump ready for a re-map.

can anyone tell me what pump i need and also a how to change guide

Yes, they can be used without a remap - as it's only the remap (plus other modifications) that then require better fueling (which the uprated pump then provides).
