Default lightened flywheel

whats your views on above??
pros and cons???
changing a 6speed clutch and wondering if i should try a light flywheel but dont want to compromise comfort...

too light and the car will judder like a bugger. the 6 speed wheel is a lot lighter than the classic flywheel so its not really an issue. You could get a billet flywheel which would mean you could put on a hard clamping friction plate without chewing up the OEM flywheel, but that would only be needed for hardcore use.
For example, i had a 7kg on my old classic reduced from 12kg and it was fine and the revs rised quicker so slightly better acceleration (but nothing to write homwe about), although the turning mass of that spinning flwheel is hugely reduced. the cons to a lighter flywheel mean that the wheel slows quicker due to less weight/inertia in the rotational force so revs drop quicker. if the flywheel is really light then i guess the car could even stall between gear change - although thats just a guess and the wheel would have to be ultra light - lol.
My brother got a 6kg wheel on his classic and it judders on take off unless you give it lots of revs.
