Default Engine diagnostic light

Hi,

After years of totally fault free motoring my MY03 scoob has pinged a diagnostic fault somewhere and the warning light is now on. I have a friend with an ECU reader so I can get the fault code (hope it's not a big problem)

I have two questions, where is the ECU located and is it easy to get at? Where can I find a list of the many fault code and what they mean?

Crossed fingers!

Thanks

Mark

This is my Scooby. To set up your own Scooby, go to your user cp, and click 'Edit Settings'.

The ecu should be located under the passenger side footwell, and if you hit the search button at the top of the page and type in ecu fault codes ,i imagine there must be a few 100 pages on this site with the codes listed. Hope you get it sorted.
