Hi Russel: I'm sure you'll understand that we don't make public where stock is sourced from/who our suppliers are.

Stock will be sold from our own stocks.

OK - let me try again...

Are you getting them from a supplier in the UK (no need to name names here as I know PF are picky about GB's and discounts) or are you geting them from the USA?

Reason I ask is that I'm needing to get some sets in but am not interested unless they have come from the UK (its from a warranty and claims point of view).

Hi Russell: Your claims and warranties are with us, as with any other product (under UK consumer law). Don't be fobbed off by companies saying you need to take the claim to the manufacturer.

Cheers,

Bob

Just to add my pen'orth.

I advance ordered a set of front disks/pads and rear disks around a month ago - Bob shipped me the rear pads that I needed urgently there-and-then at no extra charge, and when the fronts were late in to him he nevertheless managed to sort me out with a set somehow or other by calling in a favour or whatever, and got them to me in a rush. So I had them fitted in time for a 'ring trip this last weekend :D

He's a top bloke :notworthy and could not have been more helpful - and the disks/pads are AWESOME!!!

Highly recommended to anyone here: go for it and, based on my experience, you won't be disappointed either with the service or the product.

Thanks Bob :thumb:

These things are the F*ckin nuts.
Got 'em last Friday and fitted them myself. Pretty straightforward with no adjustment required. Like for like as they say.
On appearance it is obvious that the bell and floating disc arrangement is vastly superior in quality to the lump of cast metal OE disc that rusts whenever it rains.
You don't have to be an engineer to realise that the OE discs are going to transfer larger amounts of heat to the hub/wheel bearing assembly. Failure in this area is not an option IMO.
In practice, the brakes are fine with a soft initial bite when cold.
When they get warm (spirited driving/track) they come into their own with excellent stopping without fade from moderate brake pedal force.
On the downside they are not that cheap and if you drive around like a granny, there is no point.
However, if you do "like to use your brakes" and your discs are coming to the end of their life - go for it, this is a top mod.
I can't comment on aspects like wear and brake dust etc but just looking at engineering quality and comparing them to the brown lumps of metal by my wheelie bin tells me all I need to know.:luxhello:
