*** Hardrace uprated engine and gearbox mount kits - GROUP BUY! Save over 60%!!! ***
|
|
EDIT: Theres a lot of interest in these kits already, we have limited stocks, 20x 5 speed kits and 10x 6 speed kits. Its first come first served.
We have just had a large shipment of Hardrace parts arrive. We have been dealing with Hardrace for years now with great sucess, theyre products are tried, tested and proven both on road cars and on race tracks. ALL of the Team apex cars run a large number of Hardrace products including engine and gearbox mounts.
Just so you know Team Apex consists of a 531bhp V8 powered Skyline, a 463bhp S14, two 400bhp S13s, a 380bhp Silvia, a 400bhp 180SX, an S14a being built with a planned 700bhp and our 300+bhp Sti 6.
We use what we sell
We have stock of engine and gearbox mount kits for both the 5 and 6 speed cars. The kits includes two main engine mounts, the restraint and the gearbox mount.
If you get someone to rev your engine whilst watching from under the bonnet youll see how much movement you get with the standard mounts. As they age they get worse and engine movement increases. This engine and transmission movement leads to the car 'shunting' slightly when you throttle on and off as the weight of the assembly moves about.
The uprated engine and gearbox mounts remove this excessive play without introducing unreasonable vibration into the cabin. You get a very slight edge but it just adds to the sporty feel and I dont notice it anymore in our car. Its certainly not intrusive.
We havent set prices yet but accessories sell them for £250 a set.
If we get 5 people involved then Ill do them at £99.50 for the full kit! I just want to get some of the kits on the market hence the great price. Word of mouth will take over in time
We have 5 and 6 speed kits in stock and ready to go.
Give us a ring on 01274 683633 to place your order

Anyone any idea how long it takes to fit the set? Stupid questions coming from me, I know, but Andy at Richard Henry Motorsport does all our mechanical work so I didnt fit ours myself.
