Fitted mine last week and yes, they are very low out of the box. Would advise people raise them 25mm before fitting as i found the back units very stiff to turn when mounted.
Here are some wheel arch height figures for a newage STI to give people a guideline:-
STI -- FR 386mm R 366mm
RB320 -- FR 356mm R 356mm
Tein -- FR 345mm R 340mm
Advice
Measured from the centre of the wheel vertically to the lip of the wheel arch.
I settled around the RB320 figure, i wouldn't go lower than the Tein figure as the bottom arms will be at the wrong angle.
Mine are on! I've got -25mm on the rear and -30mm on the front. May have to go up a bit as the mudflaps now scrape on the corners! But I'll let it all settle then sort it out. The garage I used quoted an hour a corner plus alignment time. They were amazed at the fit, had all 4 on in under an hour, dropped it down said s*&t that's low, lifted it adjusted height. All fitted with ride height set in 2 hrs then 1 hr to align!

Hi to you all at Apex. Both BCs and ARB arrived on Wednesday
Looking very very good all being fitted Saturday
Thank you all for your efforts in this GB well done on delivery as well.
Glad i put me name down for standin well worth it.
I went for the recommended 6/5 spring ratings on my 05 spec c, but if I click on the BC banner and look up my model in the applications list the suggested rates are 6/4. Can anyone shed some light on this discrepancy?
I only ask as my suspension geek father drove mine over the weekend and said it felt a little over-sprung at the rear and I have to agree. Could it be down to the light-weight rear on the spec c or does anyone else have the same issue?
Think I might be wanting a set of 4kg/mm springs......
Fitted mine the other weekend and am getting the geometry set-up this weekend.
Can anyone tell me a good geometry set-up for fast-road use on a classic please?
Also, what is the recommended ride height for a classic to maintain good handling? (as I know too low and the handling gets worse)
