* Usually five 60A Rated 99.9999% oxygen free copper core grounding cables in a choice of colours with pre-attached connectors, the size of the connectors and lengths of cables are designed to specifically fit the intended grounding points.
* Gold plated negative battery terminal
* Stock earth strap o-ring connector (Gold plated)
* Cable ties to help route the wires.
* Full clear instructions, specific to your car.
guys, they dont work.
if you want the bling of it then go to vehicle wiring products and buy some nice heavy gauge cable and terminals and crimp your own (total cost about £13).
any empirical proof Tim?
I did readings across mine and got worse (higher resistance) across the earthing kit than I did on the standard earths.
Hence, they dont work.
My only suggestion would be to upgrade the earth cable from the battery neg to the chassis above the n/s/f headlight.

Nothing empirical, no.
I can see the sense in upgrading the earth cable as you say - very logical. What I'm not sure is how the block itself get's it's earth as standard? And/or the starter motor - I can see that any deteriotation of those connections would have a deleterious effect.
Assuming this GB goes through, then for £35 I'm happy to play lab tech and do various measurements before and after

Having worked on vehicle electrics I know that a good earth and good sized cables are very important. If the main engine to chassis/battery earth is good then all should be fine. I think these are more of a bling than effect. If people have gained a few bhp by fitting a kit then I think bigger problems could be round the corner. In that a good check of all connections with a smear of copper based grease on re-assembly could have got the same result.
Maybe "BTTT" is your response but doing auto electrics on over 10 different vehicle types for 5 years plus, I have built up some experience of bad earths andtheir effects.

He was just "bumping the thread to the top"........BTTT
if you still decide to go ahead with this then another piece of advice I have for you.
Choose any colour apart from red.
Red signifies 12v +, these are earths, it can cause confusion if you need to put your car in the shop or you sell it in the future.
