More than that I think, since I then spent a bit more time gloating about it.
Seriously though, why fold undies?

Do you know that superduper folding technique that the asians use over there? Takes like 5seconds to fold a shirt perfectly squared!

Yeah I do. I *think* I can fold it faster using the traditional method since I never really bother pressing down on my clothes to make them square. If you don't press down on your sweaters and stuff, it really doesn't matter if it's completely square or not since the lines will be out pretty quickly.

more a space issue I think... if you fold them, you'll fit more in the drawer.

Of course, if you only have 2 pieces of underwear, then it wouldn't be an issue for you

I never fold my undies. I just cram them the drawer. At the end of the day, I'd never need to show off how creaseless my undies are. Almost the same can be said about my undershirt since they straighten themselves out sooner or later.

Hi HO. So this afternoon my dad and I tackle the job of grapping the old toilet from my house. Suppose to be about a 1-2h job to remove the old toilet, and install the new one which Reen and I purchased on Saturday.
Anywayz, my dad is helping me remove the old toilet. What do we discover, well, um, the toilet is NOT BOLTED DOWN!!!!!!!!!! The decorative caps that are suppose to cover the bolts just fall off with a light tap. There's nothing underneath there. Ohoh, this is not good. Guess what's holding down the toilet? Good 'ol silicone. There was really nothing stopping the toilet from tipping over and spilling the contents of the bowl. Use your own imagination.
So we cut through the silicone and wrestle the toilet off of its base. Problem number 2 rears its ugly head. Since this is an old house, the metal ring that holds the bolts that are suppose to hold the toilet down, does not have the notch for the bolt to come out. To remove the bolt, we have to remove the ring. To remove the ring, we had to clean out the gunky wax, and a whole bunch of other gunk. YUK!!!
If you know anything about toilets, the toilet flange (the part that the base of the toilet plugs into) is suppose to be level or higher than the level of the floor. Whoever did the renos at my place cheaped out totally. They left the original flange, which is about an inch too low!!! Professional reno-ers would have reseat the flange so it is level with the new floor. When we were cleaning out the gunk from the hole, my dad noticed that the wood subfloor was wet. Guess where the water is from? Not the hole itself - the toilet hole is a drain hole....
Anywayz, we have to make a mad dash to Home Depot, and talk to the guy there to figure out what to do. We need a new toilet flange, PLUS an adapater to raise it so that it is flush with the floor. Chaching, another $40 down the hole so to speak.
So we come back home, clean up around the hole to fit everything back together. Everything fits fine, the new flange gets sealed and screwed down. The new toilet sits properly in place and is BOLTED to the floor. The water tank gets put into place.
I have a new toilet to sit upon and ponder the wonders of life.
Start time: 3:00pm
End time: 7:00pm
Grap on my birdpool to the idiots who didn't do proper plumbing in the first place. I wonder what other crazies I'll find in my house.
LaterZ!
Darren!!

I can, except I'll probably tip over a bowl of **** and cuss all over, proceeded by ripping the toilet out of its base and then chucking it out of my window. Then I'll probably follow it up by finding out whoever the jackass "plumber" is and plumb his ass with the flange that he can't plumb is own **** for weeks.
Ahh, anger management at its best.

What brand died? KY was just talking to me about all the drives he's had to replace recently for work and says it's various brands/models failing these days.

My 80GB was a WD (should still be under manufacturer's warranty, gotta go thru the pain of filing for an RMA), the 200GB I just bought today is a Seagate (which has a 5yr manufacturer's warranty since I bought the 8MB cache version). Still in the running are the Maxtor 20GB (IDE), Quantum Atlas 9GB and Fireball 4.3GB (both SCSI).
KFC - FYI, Maxtor bought out Quantum, Hitachi bought IBM (stay away due to DeathStar history). It's really a toss up these days, but I read that Seagate has changed the bearings due to heat concerns back in 02, and I bet you that my WD died due to heat problem as well

Only drive I've had die was a WD. Granted, I mainly had WD drives. Right now my family's PC have a wide assortment from a 60 GB DeathStar in my dad's PC to a 10Gb Maxtor in the downstairs PC and a 6.4Gb Fujitsu in my old room.
AFAIK I've never owned a Quantum or Seagate. Seagate seemed to have a really bad rep in the early-mid 90s.
I think my laptops use Hitachis. I'd like to get a 60Gb 7200RPM laptop HD for my new laptop as that's definitely the current bottleneck. Doesn't seem fair to pair a ATI Radeon Mobility 9600 and Athlon 64 3000+ with a 4200 RPM drive. Too bad the 7200 RPM drive way overpriced in Canada. I think it's just over $100USD, but cheapest around here is more than double, aka $280ish.
