So I got pulled over for "multi coloured headlights" at a road block on my way to Earles cove. I couldn't believe it, especially being surrounded by cars and trucks that by most counts shouldn't be on the road. The road block seemed like a drinking/ driving counterattack kind of deal, so I figured no probs, but then the constable waves me to the side. I'm thinking, "wht the fk?!"
He then tells me why he pulled me over and asks for my license and reg, and says the lights aren't white and are they original equipment. I say "Yes they're white, and they're supposed to look like that." He takes my papers and goes to see another cop. Other cop comes over and asks if they're stock lights, what year is your car?
I'm both crapping my pants figuratively, and also peeved, surrounded by rusting hulks of cars, and they want to see the fog lights on, the DRLs which weren't on, (cuz I had the parking brake on.) Momment of panic because of that. After they were satisfied that everything was in fact working as they are supposed to, they wave me on.
When I had the parking brake on the first cop said, "See, they're illegal because the DRLS aren't working." What a prick.

Sheez ... on the one hand, great that they're cracking down on morons with RHD headlights and stuff like that, but if they're not using a real beamsetter alignment device, it's just guesswork and profiling. Stoooopid...

I should be flattered he thought I was a young Asian male in a fancy car.
Realistically though; no harm, no foul. He coulda given me a VI...

If I wasn't a young asian male, I would've put my handbrake down and shouted back "are they legal now?"

Ken, you've got some good hands putting on those decals. Did you do them by hand or with a needle nose plier?

Bwhahahha, I have my bed. I even have my booze for tonight (after I finish... uh, another 80 or so chemistry questions ).
My moving fiasco is finally complete, and it's time to kick back and celebrate a bit!

Holy smokes!
I just cooked myself a steak and all I can say is... HOLY SMOKES! I'm currently surrounded by a pretty thick, visible layer of smoke in my place. Ugh, guess that's a downside of a bachelor suite...
Those combo microwave/vent thingy sucks

Sunny's going to burn his new place down.
Sunny, the side door Subaru swoosh was one gigantic decal so it's a bit bubbled since it won't fit over the contours of the car but it turned out pretty good. All by hand since KY didn't have any of his tweezers to lend me.
