Yeah I'm guessing in a few years there's not gonna be much difference. I picked up a newish G4 Powerbook in the spring of last year... Maybe it's time to upgrade already? Quicktax USED to support macs, dagnabbit.

Yeah, I use the web versions... soo much less hassle for software that you only use once a year...
And I fall into the low income free-file charity bracket.

Don't you Mac guys keep a PC around? It seems like a lot of guys on the Taiwanese Mac forums are suggesting to do that because, at least in Taiwan, Macs just don't work well. A lot of bank homepages are IE only and Mac for IE apparently sucks (uh, it doesn't suck on Win?)

LOL. So I'm typing up my essay on video game violence exposure, and I typed "Playstation" into Word. It underlined the word in red. Then I followed it up with "XBox" and guess what it did? It corrected "XBox" for me into "Xbox".

Why don't people just accept the fact that I'm always right? Why do they waste my time by arguing?

Whoops! Can't let this slip off the first page now, can we?
Thanks to Bruno and KY for the advice! I e-mailed tora and got some further insight. Should be a fun project to pass the time while Leah is watching her TV shows.

Hey Rick, I must have sounded pretty dopey when you called me last night. I was tired so I went to lay down for a bit. I looked at my clock radio when I woke up because my phone was ringing and thought it was 8am. I didn't really figure out what was going on until I got off the phone with you.

So I broke the LCD on my camera *again* and just called up Canon parts to order new ones. It was like $30 for the old S400 and $40 for the new SD550 -- very reasonable, very friendly and no hassle at all. They could easily have jacked the prices for OEM parts but they don't... much props. Buy Canon stuff.
