You know Darren, the first thing that popped into my head when you said your car might be totalled is "race car!", but alas, you're married and that's not in the cards.
How does ICBC work if you want to keep your car?

StStB - well, if my car isn't a write-off, I plan on keeping her. If it is written off, I think we'll go down to a 1-car family. Reen will be off on maternity leave this year, so we can do with one car. I'll be bussing again to work for most of the time. If anything, I'll drive only in September because who knows when the baby will pop out. After that, I'll just take the bus.
LaterZ!
Darren!!

I think Sunny's question was more along the lines of what if the car is written off and you want to keep it.

Bruno, I lent Heather the camera mount yesterday. She seemed to had some fun with it on her runs.

OMG!!! I go away for the weekend and all this stuff happens?? Rick, how'd you do at the BBQ championships?? I was digging on some fish tacos at Sobo's in Tofino and all I could think about was your BBQ...
Darren... ouch. Takes a decent guy to admit it was an accident and straight up take responsibility though. Bravo. Good to hear the baby and you guys are OK. Umm and ... I guess this may be rather distasteful, but can you let me know if the car's totaled? Seriously, I am in dire need of a few parts that nobody will notice if they're swapped with mine...
Well, as for me, surfing was fun but the going was rough, so to speak...

Darren, I am so glad to hear that you, Irene and the baby are OK. So sorry to hear about your accident. That is terribly unfortunate. If Leah and I can do anything to lend a hand, let me know.
Kinda makes my weekend seem minor in the grand scheme of things, but many thanks to Ken and Bruno for coming out and saying Hi. Sorry I wasn't able to give you guys more BBQ and more time as we were finished already. Hope you had a great weekend in any case, not that there was much going on when you showed up... So sorry about that.

LOL, all I'm gonna say about Heather and her recent progressions is that she borrowed my helmet for her first CNAC, which she either won or trophied. Yeah, I'll be keeping that helmet (with its CNAC inspection stickers and all) and sending it back for autograph if she ever makes it into the big leagues
Hey Bruno, you're a windsurfer right? A buddy of mine was thinking of taking a lesson in it (I'm not sure if it's too late to take a lesson now). Does he need any training lessons before taking a windsurfing class? Or do they start fairly easy?

Highlight reel:
Sat: Third Place Bullseye Backyard Burger competition out of 33 teams!
Sunday:
5th Place Chickn out of 37 teams some from as far away as Florida!
Not our best showing, but we're really happy we came away with an award as this was a TOUGH competition.

Oh and a bear made a mess of our spice bin that was in the Trailer on Sunday night after the competition. Some locals scared it off and came to our door to tell us. I moved the trailer to underground parking shortly thereafter and parked my car in the space previously occupied by the trailer and found PAW prints (and a nose) on my car the next moring. It came back and was dissapointed. Bugger scratched my paint a teeny bit...
There was paprika on the nose print on my car!

You're my hero Rick.
I came across these extra long exhaust hangers Kartboy's site that might help out with the trailer hitch and RFL if you ever change your mind..

The only time I took lessons it was really really basic stuff that was actually beneath me at the time. I assume if he's taking lessons they probably have different levels and he should end up in the appropriate one.
