Hi HO from San FrancisCO!
The 747 to SYD is boarding now ... haven't been on one of those in a while. If you hear any news about UA 863, that's me.

Made dinner for Mom and Dad tonight. After fixing my grandma's toilet. Going to bed now. Why do they make the colour of the wax ring dark brown?!

My Baby Girl is growing up. Last night, she started reaching for some of her dangly toys on her play mat! Now we have to be careful for the things within her reach!
I don't want to be at work. She's more fun to be with.

Speaking of laptops, Stefanie just grapped herself an Acer last night. $750 for a Turion 64 X2 (1.6ghz dual core) with 1GB of RAM and a 14" widescreen.
KY, you know any Acer service center? Seems pretty much all Acer laptops come with a switch and LED for bluetooth but only a few actually come with the bluetooth module installed so I'm wondering if I can track one down. Stefanie wants a mouse and I figure it would be nice to be able to use a bluetooth wireless one without having to plug in any adapters.

Thug - where'd she grap it from? Sounds like a good machine for Reen to use.

It was from Future Shop. It's selling for $800 now. For some reason there was $50 off when you ordered online yesterday that seems to be gone now.

I assume none of the GC guys have pulled the center panel above the center vents and HVAC before? Brute force only kind of job?

I took mine out before. Took a wiggle and a niggle to get it out.
Best to wait for Ashtarion to post. He's the master @ GC8 interior dismantling and reconstruction.
Have you checked out the info on scoobymods.com?

Yes I did - they only posted scans of the factory gauge pod installation manual, which has 2 steps: unscrew and pull. I believe I broke the alignment tab/pin behind the storage tray and still have no success. Haven't tried it today but I suspect have a bummed finger isn't going to help

Actually, was there any double-sided tape on yours after you pulled it out? I had some and now that I think about it, it might be the collision repair guys double taping the whole thing to the dash which made it difficult vs anybody elses
