I just saw the picture of the new Impreza. WTF were the subaru designers thinking?

I asked that question a long time ago back in 2002. So these days, isn't it a given?

Heat sinks are installed and now I just need to flash with a new firmware and I'll be good to go!

I got back from HK in one piece. All pictures have been uploaded to my gallery!
And as of tonight, I'm boosted.

Ashton - if you want a really nice BT "computer", you should look into one of those little NAS devices like my Linksys Nslu2 device. In it's stock form, it's nothing great. With a little third-party firmware action, it's a nice little BT download server as well as a media server. If you want to check out what I've done with it, come by sometime this weekend when I'm home!
Anyway, nice job with the heat sinks.
KY! Glad to hear that you've made it home. Reen and I will check out your pics tomorrow.
G'nite everyone.
LaterZ!
Darren!!

Don't you feel better now that you know you didn't own the ugliest impreza ever?

I like the cross-eye better than the bug-eye, actually even the pig nose is better than the bug eye but the 08 is just plain fugly in the front. Of course, nothing beats the GC in looks, with the 22B being the best with the widebody.

Here's my list of preference
1.) GC
2.) KFC's style (04-05)?
3.) Pig Nose (06-07)?
4.) New version (08+)
5.) Bug eye

I think my choice is something like:
1.) Saabaru
2.) GC
3.) Pig Nose
4.) Bug eye
5.) New version (haven't seen any great photos so this could change.)
6.) Cross eye
It's sad when the nicest version is the one being sold by another company.

Saabaru was nice but they did very little work on it, and the end result is that it just doesn't cater to the Saab crowd and the rest of the world wouldn't bother with Saab when they have Audi for European AWD. GC gets notched down because the nicest ones are the ones we don't get in North America I assume?

I figure GC can't be that good looking if I never really noticed it until after the bug eye came out. Legacy and butt ugly Loyale had been on my radar, mainly because we owned a Loyale and had relatives with legacies. Actually, I had an aunt with a GC OBS. And face it, even a GC isn't really that great looking in the grand scheme of cars. To be honest, it's getting a bit dated rather than becoming a timeless classic.
Anyhow, I'm probably just bitter because a search of the Buy & Sell showed that a 2002 WRX wagon list for sub $14k which makes me wonder just how worthless my car is these days.

The GC looks better in JDM trim, and of course, having a snail shell makes it prettier First noticed in 98 with the RS trim it didn't quite appeal to me, but the JDM version certainly did and I ended up with a MY00

Thug, I beg to differ
Probably the greatest impreza (look wise) ever, is based on the GC-style. And with GC/GF's still selling for $10-15k... I think it's on it's way to become a classic.

It's those sexy curves!
The 22B would look even better with me behind the wheel!

I have yet to see that body kit materialize - crazy amount of mods, especially cutting the rear wheel well and molding fiberglass on top of it. Wheel bearing might take a beating unless the half shafts are changed.
Yep, 22B looks pretty
