Hi HO. If the title physically arrives @ IPD tomorrow, they'll email it to me. 3pm is the same-old deadline, otherwise it'll be delayed one more day.
The shop is super close to the airport - Google maps says it's only 3 miles away. If that's the case, I just might fly down in the morning, and taxi to the shop to go grap the car.
LaterZ!

Good with the title hunt.... hope to see another turbo in the iDub soon - too bad I can't make most of the meets you guys held
-S-: I know it's a replacement of the AE86, I just question the suitability of a boxer in a front-mid vs an MR. But I guess it's OK because they can still push the fronts as far out as they can because it's only RWD.
Funny how not having steady hands now come into play with my ECU replacement - since I can't trust my own hands, I have to rely on a buddy of mine to do the dirty work and he's damn busy (probably frustrated with some parts of his new job as well). Sometimes I just never knew when he completes the soldering and thinking "crap I need to change something - hope he hasn't started", and he surprises me saying it's all done. Anyhow I think I should have a working ECU to test again, but it's not looking good - Subaru cam teeth might be too short for polling and while I can upgrade the CPU itself for < $100USD, I have to change my wiring (again). Possibly thinking of a re-code to account for a rare situation that may fix the erratic spark

FINALLY! Title IS in. Looks like crap though, because it's on that fancy coloured paper with the background on it. Hopefully it'll be human readable enough for US Customs so that I can get the car through.

I'm booked with PRS in Surrey for Aug 27th straight thru the weeknights and weekends (cram everything in 6 days). I went thru the book once but I figure I will go thru the book again before I go write it. Stupid DSC don't do test on Saturdays but at least the Lougheed DSC is open late between Wed-Fri.

Well just got the confirmation letter - since it will cost me $150 to reschedule within the 14 days of class start, I better write the test and pass before Aug 24th

My thoughts are to focus on the numbers and the rest of them are mostly common sense or safest possible answer since it's all MC - maybe KY can chime in?

I would say the exam is more about common sense.. some common sense u'd be able to figure out during the exam, but read the whole book over. There are some numbers/road signs they ask you too.
I was being lazy and skimmed it to see if I can still do well and I manage to barely pass , but its one of those things where you can read it, but might not be able to remember it until you apply it with real life experience. Some questions you might think you have the safest choice narrowed down, but really something else is safer. That's how I was duped for a few of them.

Is it too much to ask for my http traffic to pass through the network without the content-length header being modified?
Seems some customer is having issues with our software and so far I have traced down an occurence where our response is 11055 bytes but for some reason the http content-length header (which we explicitly set correctly, right before transmitting the data) is being changed from 11055 to 11030 by the time the response reaches the client. All 11055 bytes are in the response but it doesn't get processed correctly, presumably because of the header. What I really want to do is say it's not our f**king problem if their system can't correctly trasmit our data, but I'm having them run a network trace on the server so I can be more specific and say "fix your f**king network" or "fix your f**king server"
