Actually I've just worked out the savings in hair cuts, shampoo, gel etc and it's got advantages - it's cheaper!
Shampoo @ £5 / month
Haircuts @ £10 / month
Gel / Wax @ £5 / month
£20 / month X 20 years = £4800
