...but looking on the bright side
|
|
Filled with the optimism of a new year ahead of us, those little things shouldn't be a problem really. There'll always be an upside
When I woke up this morning my free night-time electricity monitor had decided helpfully to maximise my use by not turning off the water heater at the pre-determined temperature and instead the whole bluddy 5' high barrel of water was boiling merrily
Ok, so I could post in NSR or General for some handy tips on what to do, but I'm sure we can come up with some rather more innovative treatments can't we?
So far I've got:
- Stop using the space above it as an airing cupboard and charge people in adjacent flats to use my airing cupboard as a new local sauna for their fitness and health and my financial gain

- Fashion a suitable basket from some chicken wire purloined from some nearby fence and place tomorrow's vegetables in it in order to hang it in the top of the thing for free overnight cooking

Run a convenient 1/4" copper pipe from the boiler across your carpet straight into your tea's-made, thus providing instant (over) underfloor heating and a nice cuppa on demand at any time of the night

Ahhh, I see, 'twas a statement of intent
Anyway, back to the thread topic please everyone
Only Tel on target so far, with the rest of you (does two people count as a 'rest of'? ) offering silly excuses or wandering off with random gibbering...

Hold on. Do the options actually include putting things IN the boiler?
