Question

I have just bought a cd multichanger for the standard philips/subaru head unit. The factory spec 6cd philips unit.

Do i have to take the radio out to plug the cable in or can i do it some other way?

If i have to take the radio out, how do i do that?

yours, a real ICE idiot

John.

There is probably a socket for the thick control cable which will almost certainly plug in on the back of your head unit (assuming they are compatible of course).

You will probably need a special tool to remove it, these are only a few pence or so from Halfords or nip into any car hi-fi shop and most will probably come and pull the unit out for you.

Mike.
